Senior Associate Attorney:

We’re a Business Law firm looking to hire a smart and experienced Senior Associate Attorney for our litigation and transactional practices. We have offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, with the option to work from either.

At a minimum, the right candidate will have:
- At least ten (10) years’ experience in the practice of law and licensed at least in the State of New Mexico (NM)

- Experience in public speaking, and presenting to community, local- and state-level organizations

- Familiarity with Intellectual Property law (e.g., trademarks, copyrights, patents)
- Experience in all phases of Civil Litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, motion practice, and trial practice.
- Excellent online credentials and/or ranking, including one or more years as a SuperLawyer.
- Aside from being a member of the New Mexico Bar, boast membership in one or more other state bars.

Business / Litigation Paralegal:
Salary: $19.00 – $35.00 per hour, DOE

What you will do:
Our Paralegals (and legal assistants) are our right-hand. They may it possible for our law firm to deliver outstanding client service and support. This position requires you to be comfortable talking to leads, prepare and submit filings and corporate paperwork, analyze documents and discovery, and much, much more. Think of this position as part legal work (working closely with our attorneys) and part customer service.
- Take lead calls daily and answer basic questions about our online offerings to guide client purchases and provide an excellent client experience.
- Review and process client orders in a timely manner utilizing excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Enjoy working in a paperless work environment.
- Navigate State Government websites for entity status, filing fees and other supporting needs as necessary.
- Contact Secretary of State to determine filing needs/updates/fees.
- Prioritize multiple demands from clients and attorneys.
- Conduct research on, and interpret, state statutes and services typically offered by the Secretary of State (in all states) as well as prepare legal articles and certificates.
- Effectively handle complex orders and emails.
- Quickly process and analyze information to be able to make decisions and solve problems.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certification is preferred, those with applicable job experience will be considered
- Proficient in navigating practice management software such as Clio or equivalent
- Work well under minimal supervision, be self-motivated and a team player
- Ability to excel in a high-pressure, fast paced –environment
- Highly organized
- Excellent computer skills – including Microsoft Office and related platforms
- Consistent track record of timeline achievement and quota achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to gain insight through asking the right questions of our customers and leads
- Experience with business law – specifically around business formations, dissolutions, domestications, trademark, and business disputes – is highly desired
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus
Of Counsel:
Salary: $75.00 – $160.00 per hour
