Civil Litigation Attorney:

We’re a business law firm looking to hire a smart and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney. We have offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, with the option to work from either.

At a minimum, the right candidate will have:
- At least fifteen (15) years experience in the practice of law and licensed at least in the State of New Mexico (NM)
- Experience in all phases of Civil Litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, motion practice, and trial practice
- Experience and interest in leading and mentoring other attorneys
- Strong experience in business and contracts law
- A recognized, go-to leader in your areas of practice
- A willingness to learn, use and adapt to new technologies as part of their law practice
- The ability to work independently by taking ownership of and managing deadlines for their caseload
- A collaborative approach to working with other attorneys across practice areas
- A drive to branch out from their comfort zone by taking on new matters and seeking guidance from other attorneys as needed
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to keep clients up-to-date and in the loop
Additionally, the ideal candidate would have some of the following:
- Previous significant experience in partnership, contract and/or IP disputes
- Excellent online credentials and/or ranking, including one or more years as a SuperLawyer
- Aside from being a member of the New Mexico Bar, boast membership in one or more other state bars
